Medium bio · one paragraph

Carlos Agami is a Mexican keynote speaker and author. His work starts from a simple idea: serving is the way. He has taken that message to conventions, kickoffs and sales teams at companies like Office Depot, BBVA, Cinépolis, Mercedes-Benz and Grupo Xcaret. He is the founder of Shopology, the firm he uses to implement service cultures and commercial methodologies, and the author of “Estoy para servirte” and “Vende más”.

Long bio · article or program

Carlos Agami is a Mexican keynote speaker and author focused on service, customer experience and sales. His work didn't start on a stage — it started behind the counter of a family business, serving people and learning that the difference between a sale and a relationship is how you make someone feel.

Since then he has built his career around one question: what happens when we put people at the center of what we do? That question produced his talks — “I Serve, Therefore I Am”, “Customer Experience as a Way to Sell More” and “Empathetic Selling” — and his two books, “Estoy para servirte” and “Vende más”.

He has worked with teams at Office Depot, BBVA, Cinépolis, Mercedes-Benz, Coca-Cola, Adidas and Grupo Xcaret, in Mexico and abroad, in Spanish and in English. He is the founder of Shopology, where those ideas turn into implementation: strategy, design, training and follow-up.

On stage he doesn't deliver a motivational speech. He tells real stories and turns them into concrete decisions for the following Monday.

Interview topics

Five angles that work well on radio, podcasts and print. Each one has concrete stories behind it.

01

Serving isn't being nice

Why kindness without clarity doesn't help the customer, and what separates a company that truly serves from one that only smiles.

02

Selling is serving

The resistance to selling most commercial teams carry, and how it dissolves once selling is understood as a way to help.

03

The emotions behind every purchase

Nobody buys a product; they buy what they expect to feel. What changes in a team that learns to read that.

04

Why service initiatives die

The problem isn't the team's attitude — it's that serving well is usually harder than serving badly. Serving well is a design problem.

05

Leading when nobody is watching

What a leader does with recognition, correction and indifference, and how that reaches the customer.
