How Awful

Mr. Beast makes me really uncomfortable.
And I just understood why.
It's not that he gives away money on his show.
What makes me uncomfortable is what people have to go through to win it.
Because we're not talking about watching someone sing better, run faster, or answer trivia.
We're talking about watching people cry.
Suffer.
Break down.
Make horrible decisions under pressure.
In one challenge, he puts three best friends in a room. Only two can leave.
And amidst all that, what the show sells you isn't just the prize.
It sells you the moment someone breaks, sacrifices, betrays another, or pushes another to sacrifice.
The audience loves it.
Me, honestly, I find it disgusting.
I don't want my kids to watch it.
Or to admire it.
Because what that guy sells isn't just entertainment.
He sells a very blatant way of manipulating emotions.
As I watched it with my kids, I thought:
How awful.
He profits from people's emotions.
And then an uncomfortable truth hit me.
We all do the same thing when we sell.
Zara does it.
Coca-Cola does it.
The waiter who recommends dessert does it.
You do too.
And so do I.
Because selling isn't just giving information.
It's provoking an emotion that moves someone to buy.
And here's the problem: most people don't know how to do it, which is why they struggle to sell.
That's why good people, with good products, still don't sell what they should.
Not because their product is bad.
Not because customers are cheap.
But because they're not provoking people to buy from them.
Because they don't know how to provoke emotions. Like Mr. Beast does.
So the usual thing happens: they have to chase customers, get compared on price, hear "I'll think about it"
and then they disappear.
That's why I wrote SELL MORE.
To help good people, with good products, who still don't sell what they should.
Not to teach you cheap tricks.
But to help you stop begging for sales, attract the right customers, and understand what truly makes someone want to buy from you.
In fact, it's already out on Amazon.
SELL MORE
Hope it helps you.
